2 Day Trip to NOLA

My family never and I mean never goes on family trips anymore besides the yearly Christmas Mexico trip. The last time we went out of state was for my 15th birthday where we went to New York City which sadly I have no photographic evidence of that even happening.
I don't know what caused my mom to randomly want to go to New Orleans, maybe it was jealousy from living my best life in Spain for 2 weeks, but I certainly was not complaining. This was my first time experiencing Louisiana... tasting the famous beignets from Cafe Du Mondé, going to voodoo shops and taking endless pictures of everything.
I love traveling, it is honestly my greatest passion. I feel like I am living a dream every time I step outside Texas because I never thought I would be fortunate enough to visit so many places within my life. My favorite part of traveling is the photography aspect, many people have this misconception that you don't fully place yourself within your surroundings when taking pictures, but I disagree... photography just captures the beauty that you want to remember forever.
Hopefully this will give you fashion inspiration when booking your next trip!
Day 1 : French Quarter, Cafe Du Mondé, St. Louis Cathedral

🦋 Princess Polly White Tie Top - Small ($$ : bought it two years ago)
I loved this outfit, incorporating a very pink aesthetic... the skirt does look orange at times, but that's only because of a filter I love to use: I promise the skirt is very much pink. The white tie top cannot be found on Princess Polly anymore, but there are so many similar tops that you can find within your favorite store. Personally, I've been loving dressing down an outfit with sneakers because it is way more comfortable and gives a slight edgy look to a "girly" style.
Now I don't know if you can tell, but I have been obsessed with tiny purses that look like they can be for children which is seen in two of my pictures above. Obviously, not very useful of a purse as it couldn't even fit my iPhone XR but it is so darn cute for pictures that I had to buy it.
Don't judge me... we have all totally been there!!
Day 2 : Jackson Square, Trolley Tracks and American Horror Story Coven House

🦋 Victoria Secret Pink Bralette
🦋 Urban Outfitters BDG Mom Shorts ($5 : Sale Section)
My last outfit was much more dressy; an accurate representation of what I wish I truly looked like everyday... but this outfit is a true portrayal of my usual style which I wanted to show when I was in New Orleans.
I want to take a brief moment to talk about these shorts which I managed to buy for only $5 from the sale rack at Urban Outfitters (talk about a steal) ... my butt and hips are way to big in comparison to the size of my waist which has led to difficulties of finding shorts that cover my booty!! These shorts cover my booty and yes they are pretty big on me, but I personally love the "mom" look.
The outfit as a whole is pretty basic but I choose to dress it up with an oh so trendy hair tie scarf and a cute pink bralette that just incorporates my love for the color pink and my ever-ending fashion that surrounds itself in that color.
